Our professional stereo parabolic microphone package combining the Sound Devices MixPre-3 II recorder with a matched pair of exceptional DPA 4060 CORE microphones and the NEW Telinga Modular parabola! The DPA 4060 microphones provides the ultimate in sound quality and can handle adverse weather conditions. The perfect parabolic package when you want to pick up stereo sound a far distance away while trying to minimize other surrounding noise. The DPA 4060 microphone can be used outside of the dish for ambient recordings or inside the dish for super directionality. The DPA 4060 mic can also be attached to the side of the dish providing a 3rd channel. Parabola acts like a zoom lens on a camera zooming in on birds up to a 1/4 mile away. Comes with Sennheiser headphones providing excellent discrimination from surrounding sounds - a great tool to monitor what you are recording and to determine if you are pointing the mic in the best direction to pick up the call the loudest.
