I got my Nagra SD recorder one hour ago and have already tested it out and loaded the sounds on the computer in Raven etc, It is wonderful. Very easy to set up and use. SSSSSo lightweight. I have put the parabola on with the cord that came with it. I just have to figure out how to bypass the cord that is on the handle of the parabola. My headphones for my iphone work on it. I recorded Bushtits with the small Nagra SD stereo clip-on mic and was very impressed with what I got. A distant California Towhee chink was acceptable also. Wow. I look forward to many happy hours of use with less batteries used. I also am so happy that it loaded on the Mac with absolutely no problems. No extra steps to go through. Just plug the recorder in, open Raven and drag and drop the sounds into Raven. Nice. The manual came on a flash drive which was nice.
