The Telinga Modular is a brand new concept that allows you to record in mono or stereo using your own microphones. Offers extreme versatility and highly improved wind protection over the original Telinga Universal.

• Includes large 22" clear parabolic dish for superior pickup (the larger the dish, the greater the amplification)
• Clear dish - great for catching birds in flight!
• Dish is collapsible to a diameter of 6"
• Tripod mountable
• Comes with pistol grip handle, Rycote Telinga OEM basket, windjammer and 2 foam cartridges
• Mono Foam Cartridge holds omni or cardioid pencil style mics not exceeding 22mm in diameter
• Stereo Foam Cartridge holds PZM stereo mics not exceeding 25mm in diameter (i.e., 2 small omni mics, electret capsules or sensors)
• Weighs approximately 2 lbs.
• Microphone cable, tripod, windcoat, and bag sold separately

The stereo foam is based on the same Telinga tradition of having a plate separating the two sides (2 channels) inside the dish for a stereo background while the focus of the dish will affect them equally. This concept is now accomplished inside the Rycote Telinga basket - allowing immediate changes of your configuration as soon as new capsules are available on the market!
